Dreaming is a very important part of our life, our development, our healing, our spiritual communing. It is one of many available paths to use alone and or joined with other exercises to unfold oneself to oneself. A dream can appear to be that which is unreal and yet often the dream is the first glimpse of reality. The first glimpse is a step which will begin a long and properous journey. The experience will take you inside and outside and back and forth until the two are one.
"I have a dream. I have seen the Promised Land." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream,
merrily, merrily, merrily merrily, life is but a dream" ~ traditional round

"Dreams are the royal road to the knowledge of the mind." ~ Sigmond Freud

The Beatles popularized dream imagery in Sgt. Pepper's and it filtered in and out through the so-called psychedelic period in various other songs. Bob Dylan also proved to be quite the leader in what was loosely termed "free thought" or "free verse" or some would say "nonsense verse." This "brainstorming" often reaches deep into one's self. Even when Dylan would say that a song had no real meaning it was clear there were rolls of unexamined issues which were hidden deep in the symbology of the mind. Yes, even sometimes beyond the grasp of the composer for one who reaches deep into the Akashic Records and pulls out a handful of ideas and puts them down on paper does not always know what the essence means in symbolic language. We can treat lyrics just like dreams and interpret them on an entirely different level just like decoding the Bible or translating life itself.

"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." ~ John Winston Lennon (Imagine)
"The dream is over, what can I say, the dream is over, yesterday" ~ John Winston Lennon (god)
"Always, no sometimes, think it's me, but you know I know when it's a dream. I think I know I mean a "yes" but it's all wrong. That is I think I disagree." ~ Lennon/McCartney (Strawberry Fields)
"I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in and stops my mind from wandering where it will go." ~ Lennon/McCartney (Fixing A Hole)
"Found my coat and grabbed my hat made the bus in seconds flat found my way upstairs and had a smoke, and somebody spoke and I went into a dream." ~ Lennon/McCartney (A Day In The Life)

Everything has meaning. The Universe is alive with meaning and it is sad for those who do not ever discover this for themselves. However, the amazing thing is that not only is there incredible meaning but the uncovering of it often can bring about changes in consciousness. Often merely realizing that there are alternate interpretations of what we may have thought was reality was and confronting the bigger picture of what is happening can be a life changing event. But as one continues this will not always be the case and discovering the hidden meanings within one's own life and their dreams and their unconscious will be where their new birth will emerge.

This section on this website is dedicated to these aspects of consciousness because it is something we all can relate to. Dreaming is a natural occuring event which communicates our unconscious to us and it requires very little study or even talent to begin this research even for yourself. As you spend more and more time utilizing the tools and techniques you will find that your discoveries and breakthroughs in understanding will bring benefits to you in all areas of your life. The dream is the shadow of one's inner voice. We speak to ourselves in many ways and dreams is one very important one. Some people believe that God speaks to his chosen ones through their dreams with visions of spiritual insight. And though this is true for some, others believe this to be religious whimsy. However when you realize that God is your own Higher Self and it is through one's unconscious that spiritual insight emerges, often more easily because during sleep the intellect is kept out of the way, then one can start to value what has often been seen as superstition and make believe as deep insight into a world where Consciousness has no limits and one is held back only by their own negativity.
