Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright ~ Curt Siodmak (This memorable quote from The Wolfman has been listed in some sources as an authentic Gypsy or Eastern European folk saying. Writer Curt Siodmak admits that he simply made it up.)
Marie Ouspenskaya (gypsy woman): The way you walk was thorny through no fault of your own, but as the rain enters the soil the river enters the sea, so tears run to a predestined end. Your suffering is over. Now you will find peace for eternity. Marie Ouspenskaya (gypsy woman): For a thousand years we Gypsies have buried our dead like that. I couldn't break the custom even if I wanted to.
Rev. Norman: Fighting against superstition is as hard as fighting against Satan himself.

The shadows of hell will exist as long as we believe we are separate from God

Someday there will be a holiday where people will remove their masks and their costumes and stand in front of the mirror and know who they are and feel proud that they are divine beings who know and love themselves. They won't need to try and scare others into giving them something but instead will give of themselves in order that others see another side of themselves in the mirror of life as infinite goodness reflects another version of their own ongoing Beingness. Now that would be a holiday, that would be something to celebrate. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

How can that which is real be boring when it is so seldom seen?

What I do know is that though I believe prayer works, I am constantly saddened at how little people know of prayer or what about prayer is true and how it works. The whole "church" thing is so removed from reality most of the time that I find it distant and almost pointless.
But like I said, even traditional prayer works... usually by accident... sort of... it is the believing that it will work which often "makes" it work. Belief can be powerful. Believing that God can make people well is a recognition that "wellness" comes from "God" and that is closer than believing in the disease. Unfortunately so often people believe more in the "disease" than they do in the "wellness" or "Perfect Health" which is symbolized or revealed through what we call a "healing."
The Truth is, there is no disease in Reality. It is a state of consciousness based on duality which is the belief that there is both good and bad operating in the Universe. The True Prayer is to realize that "Truth" or "God" or "Reality" or "Spirit" or "Oneness" is ALL THERE IS... then there is no good and bad but only GOOD in Truth, in Reality, thus this good is Whole, Complete and Perfect. Thus the only "true condition" is PERFECT, thus Perfect Health. A healing is the visual realization of the error disappearing and the perfect health being realized. We see this through a consciousness of "time, space and change" and as it "unfolds" we see it as a "healing".
One can pray for someone else as well as themselves and achieve the same "results", realization of the Truth, and this is because "there is no one else", there is only the ONE SELF.... just as as I speak to you I am speaking to myself for in truth, in reality, we are ONE.... I AM ONE. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

The death of one's animal is a grievous moment which seems to stretch out as long as the confusion of it all. One must embrace the love along with the change which is represented by the process. An animal represents states of consciousness. If it is a dog it symbolizes one's conscious thoughts. If it is a cat it symbolizes one's subconscious thoughts. Our pets symbolize a part of our selves and when they pass on it represents a change in our life, a new direction. This does not mean that it is the solution or answer to a dilemma but rather an indicator of that which is in progress. One must follow the lead of the window which has opened and also to grieve the letting go of that which one must give up in order to move on toward the light of their Self which they must pursue. Often people have animals which come and go and they take their deaths in stride, but also they ignore changes in their life as well and never see the opportunities which arise and usually their relationship with their animals is mostly utilitarian and they merely serve the physical side of their life and not the inner journey which is always a shadow in the presence of their destiny. Discover the shadow and seek the light on the other side which makes this moment possible. You are the author of the dream you call your life. Awakest thou that sleepest. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

The Law of Life is like a mirror. It reflects back to you the images of your thoughts in exactly the way you think them. You cannot say that It is little or that It gives you but a small portion of Itself when your own thought patterns are limiting this gift. Life has already delivered everything It has to you. But in your personal experiences even that which It has given must, of necessity, be limited to that which you take. It is, then, of greatest value to learn how to receive more abundantly. Just as one studying the piano patiently goes over his lesson until finally his action becomes automatic, so in using the Life Principle you must be patient with yourself. You must learn to strike the right chord. The right chord is always one of harmony. ~ Ernest Holmes (This Thing Called Life, 1943)
Taking what one wants is not the same thing as being open and receiving that which comes to you. It is a matter of internal perspective. To be open is to be receptive. It is this state of consciousness which creates a vacuum that allows for "more" into one's life. Giving is an important part of this process, even if the giving means a giving up of ideas which one has held on to that block the opening within oneself through which they might receive. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
I will call this higher part of the universe by the name of God. We and God have business with each other; and in opening ourselves to His influence our deepest destiny is fulfilled. ~ William James

Of progress in Raja-yoga, Kenneth Walker states that "When the disciple has reached the final stage, he sees himself not as an isolated and separate being, but as a drop in the ocean of the spirit and as a drop that in itself contains all that is in the ocean." ~ Kenneth Walker (Diagnosis of Man, 1942)
Is this not the implicate and the explicate of David Bohm? Is this not the white dot amidst the black area of the yin yang symbol side by side the black dot amidst the white area? Is this not holographic awareness, to know what is in the micro is in the macro and the macro is in the micro? ~ Derek Lamar
When Descartes drew a sharp line between matter and spirit, he at the same time drew a line between scientists and philosophers. Hence forward scientists took charge of matter and philosophers dealt as best they could with spirit. The scientists were thoroughly satisfied with what had been apportioned to them, for they felt that matter was something that was tangible and real. ~ Kenneth Walker (Diagnosis of Man, 1942)
Small wonder therefore that a medical man who has wandered so far from that safe and familiar enclosure should pause for a moment in order to take stock of where he stands. The "Self", the Absolute, the limitations of sensuous perceptions, knowledge obtained by direct perception; what has he to do with such philosophical conceptions? He is in a strange region where all the well-known landmarks are hidden under mist. Yet the journey has to be made, if for no other reason than that the enclosure in which scientists and physicians worked no longer exists. First came the discovery of the physicists that matter did not behave as they had a right to expect it to behave. Within a short lapse of time it had become "a kink in time-space", "an electron much", "a wave of probability undulating into nothingness", "a collection of charges of electricity, which are not charging in anything", "a system of spacio-temporal events whose qualities are exclusively mathematical". (C.E.M. Joad). then in the medical world came the discovery that man was more than a collection of organs packed up in a skin wrapping, that disorders of the body often turned out to be disorders of the mind, and that the mind defied the laws of cause and effect. ~ Kenneth Walker (Diagnosis of Man, 1942)

What do people really want to hear? They want someone to tell them that everything is okay. They want someone to assure them that everything is going to work out all right. They need to know that someone cares about them. They want to know that their life has meaning. They wish someone would tell them the truth and that what they hear they will be glad. Is that enough for the moment? Believe me, everything is okay. And everything always really does work out the way that it should. Someone really does care about you. Your life has more meaning than you could ever believe. You have at your fingertips the opportunity to find the answers you desire and to know that it is real, sincere and life changing in a way which you will always feel indebted... in a good way. When you're ready, let me know. That's what takes all the time. All of the excuses. All of the procrastinating. All of the wishing that it was all over and you could get back to living your life. If you just want to live your life... go.... do it. But if you want life to live you... find out what the truth is about it. You are Life. You are Truth. You are Love. Discover what that means and how you can have it working for you with conscious knowledge of the entire process. You will be glad you did. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

As to current questions regarding whether or not prayer works and why... it could be summed up in that famous phrase "As A Man Thinketh", made famous in the title of the 20th century book by James Allen. From the Bible, in Proverbs 23:7 this reads completely as: "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he." But what does this have to do with prayer? Read the words with a new understanding. The heart is where the feelings are found. This is symbolic of the subconscious mind. So as we read this, now it says: "as a man thinketh in his subconscious mind, so is he." If we modernize this with today's vernacular it reads: "As you think in your subconscious mind, so are you." Which is to say, that the baggage or constructs or condition of your filtering system of the subconscious mind will result in how you outpicture your world, how you manifest what you call your life. This is because we "get back what we put out" and if our subconscious mind is clogged with unresolved issues, then those issues will color the way things are in our everyday existence. People need to pray, or meditate, or do inner work, wrestle with issues, look at themselves and rise above who they believe themselves to be and stand up into the true identity of who they really are. The answers to one's prayers already exist and all that is preventing that from flowing into their lives is their subconscious mind. Thus we must clear our consciousness so that the Truth of having the answer to our questions, our problems, our issues, might be expressed completely, rather than being held up in transit and expressing, to a lesser degree, a reality which really seems to express finiteness, rather than infinity. The reason for prayer then, is not to get the answer to prayer but rather to remove the block which is preventing the existing answer to be made manifest in our life. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

Listen! There is but one God, one Self; one I; one Life; one Being. Therefore, for anyone to believe that he is another---such as image, idea, expression, man---is for him to be self-deceived... and thus at the mercy of his own misconception. To illustrate. Every time one seeks to change or spiritualize his thinking, he is unwittingly identifying himself with a personal mind. Furthermore, every time one attempts to heal his body of discord or disease through some kind of thought or prayer, he is ignorantly identifying himself with perishable flesh. So long as one ignorantly assumes the "I" to be where it is not, never can he find himself as I Am ... never can he find Wholeness, Immortality, Peace. Therefore, I Am come! I Am here! Hear ye Me! ~ Lillian DeWaters (Who Am I, 1942)

...We know (now) that we are just an interference pattern of waves that is changing with time. Or, in other words, we are a four-dimensional hologram. The base for the hologram is the void that permeates and connects all creation. We have heard of this void before---that is how we have described the absolute. ~ Itzhak Bentov (Stalking The Wild Pendulum: On The Mechanics of Consciousness)

When we think, our brains produce rhythmic electric currents. With their magnetic components, they spread out into space at the velocity of light, as do the electric waves or sounds produced by our hearts. They all mingle to form enormous interference patterns, spreading out and away from the planet. They are admittedly weak, but they are there. The more finely our systems are tuned, the clearer a signal we can pick out of the general noise and jumble of sounds. When we have a system of tuned oscillators, even the tiniest signal can be picked up. You may recall that it requires very little energy of the correct frequency to drive a resonant system. ~ Itzhak Bentov (Stalking The Wild Pendulum: On The Mechanics of Consciousness)

Man does not mourn the dead; that is not true. And if he does mourn in his inmost soul, he does not show it. But even then it is doubtful whether his mourning is for the dead or whether his It is sad about something else and only takes the fact off the death as a screen in order to rationalize its grief, to find a reason to suit Mrs. Grundy.
You don't believe it? Men are not so wicked? But why do you call it wicked? Did you ever see a little child mourn for the dead? And are little children wicked? My mother once told me that after my grandfather's death --- I was then three or four years old --- I ran around his coffin, clapping my hands and shouting, "There's grandfather inside." My mother did not think me wicked on that account, and I do not think I am entitled to be more moral than she was.
But why, then, do people mourn for a whole year? Partly to vaunt themselves before other people, but more than all, before themselves, in the manner of the Pharisee, to deceive themselves that they would always be faithful, would never forget him. And a few hours after his death we are already forgetting! So it is well to keep ourselves remind by black clothes, by memorial announcements, but the setting up of effigies, and by wearing the lost one's hair. Mourning makes us seem good to ourselves. ~ By Georg Groddeck (The Book Of The IT)
Beware of young girls, too often they crave, to cry at a wedding, and dance on a grave ~ Dory Previn

We shall be together even in the silent memory of God, And let there be
spaces in our togetherness. Let the winds of the heavens dance between
us, And let it be a moving sea between the shores of our souls." ~
Kahlil Gibran
Remember that life itself is a dance. The movement of all things however slow, however fast, even seemingly halted by time itself is all part of the ONE MIND which is the Reality we seek to discover. The Atoms and the Molecules which swirl about and zoom from one place on to another light years away go unnoticed as we still define our world as physicality when the Truth is that all is Consciousness and the world we see is in our Mind. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
God dances across the sky from the sun to the moon, never too late, never too sun, always on time and right in tune.

To be an individual means to exist as an entity. Rightly understood, God can be considered as the infinite Person; hence Spirit is the infinite Essence of all individuality. Within the One Supreme Mind, since It is infinite, exists the possibility of projecting limitless expressions of Itself; but since the Infinite is infinite, each expression of Itself is unique and different from any other expression. Thus the Infinite is never divided but has infinite manifestations. ~ Ernest Holmes (Living Without Fear, 1962)

Communication is the most fundamental of all expressions of life which at its root is the most spiritual. Any effort to perfecting one's communication, unleashing it, controlling it, refining it, listening to it, understanding it, expressing it will be doing much in the way of reaching their own spirituality and exercising the growth and expansion of their Higher Centers. Communication is as much in the receiving as it is in the transmitting. Listening and speaking are one process acting in unison. To view a sunset is communication. We are listening to it with our eyes. Seeing the creative forces all around us and marveling at their expression of perfection and harmony is an exercise in honoring God. Work to communicate and you will resolve many issues you may not even know about. Everyone can improve their own communication. It is at the root of all of our problems as well as a source of our resolvement. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control. It presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought. A man becomes calm in the measure that he understands himself as a thought-evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought, and as he develops a right understanding, and sees more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect, he ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remains poised, steadfast, serene. ~ James Allen (As A Man Thinketh, 1902)

Be still and know that within the calmness of the soul, I AM

The first thing to understand is that "Truth is" and that Truth is that which is so. Everyone argues about Truth because they think someone is going to try and tell them what "their" truth is and we have this prevailing psycho-babble interpretation of reality as "truth is different for everyone." But what we must deal with is Absolute Truth and work outward from that place in consciousness. Truth means that which "is", that which is "reality" and that which is "so". This is important if a scientific process is to ensue. If we truly want to know what is... What is so.... What is the truth... Then we must understand the most basic simple meaning of what truth is. If you want to know what is the truth about Hawaii, you would want to know what was so about Hawaii. So "so-ness" or "is-ness" or "trueness" is what we are seeking to get a real knowing of what it is we seek. If in your heart you seek to "know the truth" then this is where you must begin. You must strip away all other questions or formed answers from your belief system and proceed from this place. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

So then, is Being there the same as Being here?

It is pre-requisiste that a change in consciousness occurs for our continued ventures out into space. This change in consciousness will unfold a new energy which is desperately needed and it will also bring about discoveries of materials which will better facilitate the manufacture of space vehicles. The state of mind of those "travelers" will require that they perceive their Universe from an entirely different perspective. The Prime Directive of "space ship earth" will be that of "letting mind have its way" with them. The affirming statement for each and every mission will be: Consciousness, the final frontier. This is the unfoldment of planet earth. Its continuing mission is to explore unknown worlds, to seek out new life and civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. To realize that MIND is all there is and that ONENESS is Reality. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

The fanatic is perpetually incomplete and insecure. He cannot generate self-assurance out of his individual resources -- out of his rejected self --- but finds it only by clinging passionately to whatever support he happens to embrace. This passionate attachment is the essence of his blind devotion and religiosity, and he sees in it the source of all virtue and strength. Though his single-minded dedications is a holding on for dear life, he easily sees himself as the supporter and defender of the holy cause to which he clings. And he is ready to sacrifice his life to demonstrate to himself and others that such indeed is his role. He sacrifices his life to prove his worth. It goes without saying that the fanatic is convinced that the cause he holds on to is monolithic and eternal --- a rock of ages. Still, his sense of security is derived from his passionate attachment and not from the excellence of his cause. The fanatic is not really a stickler to principle. He embraces a cause not primarily because of its justness and holiness but because of his desperate need for something to hold on to. Often, indeed, it is his need for passionate attachment which turns every cause he embraces into a holy cause. ~ Eric Hoffer (The True Believer, 1951)

Sounds very much like today's terrorist. If indeed the terrorist "needs something to hold on to" then it is clear that Islam is on the verge of tremendous change because of the obvious need to discover what is there already to hold on to. A new view of Allah and God in everyday life from the perspective of the Moslem. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

When one has surrendered the personal self and has achieved the Way of higher living, true thinking becomes automatic and laborless. For us to continually embody absolute love will surely cause loving thoughts to rise from their boundless depths and spring forth into a "well of living water." To live consciously as the Spiritual Man, instead of conforming ourselves with the human, or personal, will adjust all of our thinking automatically. He who voluntarily parts company with that self who can feel hurt or offended, fearful or disturbed, unforgiving or unmerciful, has released himself likewise from these habits of thought which are contrary to the law of divine Love. Naturally the putting-off of the personal self includes the putting-off of his faulty human mind also: that mind of sick, sad, sinful thinking which is the mind of the personal man; and as we cease to function as this man we gradually transcend the effects brought about by his mind. Moreover as we lovingly and gladly express our true Self of love and peace, of joy and harmony, we simultaneously enter into that Mind "which as also in Christ Jesus." ~ Lillian DeWaters (The Price of Glory, 1936)

Lillian DeWaters, student of Mary Baker Eddy spoke often of Ontology. In The Finished Kingdom (A Study of The Absolute), 1924: "The Finished Kingdom opens up the realm of the super-Kingdom. In this book is presented the Science of Reality, the Science of the Absolute. It lifts one into the realm of intuition, inspiration, illumination, faith - the realm of the Fourth Dimension or Cosmic Consciousness. This book presents a quality of consciousness that transcends thought, a something that precedes thought and directs thought. "The ONE (A Study of The Absolute) in 1927. "Why is it more difficult for some to understand Absolute Science than it is for others? Understanding is not a mental function. Understanding is spiritual consciousness. Many have spent years in the study of Truth yet have not fulfilled the desires of their hearts because they have tried to mentally acquire Truth instead of to spiritually understand it." Science of Ascension (A Study of Our Being) was published in 1929. In The I AM THAT I AM by Lillian DeWaters, in 1938, we can also read: "As fuller revelation dawns, we see that it is God's man (for there is not other) rather than "mortal man," who entertains the dream of separation and so must waken and become disillusioned, (just as the prodigal did), and return to the truth of Being. The Great Answer (The Message of Ontology) by Lillian DeWaters was published in 1940. Her first books were through Christian Science then she went out on her own and went beyond the limits of the "religious dogma" which sometimes inhabits organizations and inhibits the Teaching. The Voice of Revelation continues with Being and modernizes it use as "Atomic Light"... For its day, 1950, not unlike the current recognition of a new science and a new mind science... in my case, Quantum Metaphysics. So we can see the unfoldment of Ontology here in the life of one ontologist in the 20th century... preparing the way for others to come to realize this now in the 21st century as Quantum Metaphysics. Discover your Being, it is all around you. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

The model suggested by Braud's work (William Braud, psychologist) is of a universe, to some degree, under our control. Our wishes and intentions create our reality. We might be able to use them to have a happier life, to block unfavorable influences, to keep ourselves enclosed in a protective fence of goodwill. Be careful what you wish for, thought Braud. Each of us has the ability to make it true. ~ Lynne McTaggart (The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, 2002)

Traditional Australian Aborigines believe, as do many other "primitive" cultures, that rocks, stones and mountains are alive and that we "sing" the world into being -- that we are creating as we name things. The discoveries of Braud and Jahn showed that this was more than superstition. It was just as the Achuar and the Huaorani Indians believe. On our deepest level, we do share our dreams. The coming scientific revolution heralded the end of dualism in every sense. Far from destroying God, science for the first time was proving His existence -- by demonstrating that a higher, collective consciousness was out there. There need no longer be two truths, the truth of science and the truth of religion. There could be one unified vision of the world. ~ Lynne McTaggart (The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, 2002)

Luke 19:40... "I tell you, if these (disciples) keep silence the stones will cry out." (Jerusalem Bible)

Energy must express itself where it will. For every action there is an equal opposite reaction. This expresses the out and back even of that which is the implicate and the explicate of David Bohm. As above, so below. That which you sow, so shall you reap. What goes around comes around. You do get back what you put out. Let there be light and there is light. The force of consciousness is Mind knowing itself. If it is to be expressed so too must it also be received. This is the "Secret Force of the Universe" and its use and application of its power is within all of us. We now have come to know "truth" in a myriad of ways but to be able to cultivate and harvest from this consciousness is the next phase of this project of what we are coming to know as the 21st century and the mind science which is unfolding as I speak. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

Here is the theory of my religion: My God is wisdom, and all wisdom is of God; where there is no wisdom there is no God. God is not matter, and matter is only an idea that fills no space in Wisdom, and as Wisdom fills all space, all ideas are in Wisdom. To make creation larger than the Creator is absurd to me. The Christian God is in everything; my God is in nothing, but everything is in Him. Attach all sight, smell, and all the senses to Wisdom, then they fill all space; everything to which we attach wisdom, and all inanimate substances are in this Wisdom. There is no such thing as reality with God except Himself. He is all Wisdom and nothing else. All other things having form are things of His creation. His life is attached to all that we call life. ~ Phineas Parkhurst Quimby (1802-1866) The Quimby Manuscripts ed. by Horatio W. Dresser

Time is indeed like sand as it appears to sleep through your fingers. And though it is illusion one still must ask themselves what it is that they don't get done if they really didn't want to do it. Often not getting things done is a reflection for oneself that they are drifting away from who they are rather than keeping up with their own path. You must focus. Do not lie to yourself about things or other people. Do not fantasize about things having to do with your life. Creativity is a force by which you dip into in order to discover the infinite variety of possibilities, it is not a pool you look into in order to obscure what is really going on. Focus on the Truth. Discover what Truth is. You will be happy that you did. ~ Derek Lamar

A human being stands, as it were, between two poles, one material and the other spiritual. In the process of creation, the material pole contributes to man's individuality while the spiritual pole gives personality. Yet, by the same analogy, it must always be the spiritual pole that gives him as an individual salvation and true personality. The more he becomes aware of his true Self, the more intensified is his spiritual being. He does not lose his individuality, but, rather is it illumined by the light of divine personality. This might almost be described as a personal transfiguration. ~ Genevieve Burnell (The Golden Thread of Reality)

I love trap doors, secret hiding places, floor safes, hidden rooms. It is like having a part of yourself which is hidden actually be discovered by you. The mystery being solved is the journey of one's self where they pursue the unknown to discover them selves. I AM is the known factor of all that is. We pursue this seemingly elusive pattern of consciousness because we have to. Some of us do it at our leisure, others avoid it at all costs but still we ultimately come face to face with it eventually, but others will leave no stone unturned with no holds barred as their rule and proceed full speed ahead. Follow me and I will follow you on the journey to the realization of the ONE SELF which includes all there is. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

I would suggest that noticing quantum exchanges while in deep meditation is precisely what the ascetic disciplines have been doing for centuries. The zero-point field resonates with each point in the universe but is outside space-time; it can only be described as infinite and eternal. When one shifts one's point of view from the samadhi to the existential state where existence and location in space-time is the more prominent reality, then the zero-point field appears to exist at each point in the macro scale universe. One can observe from the zero-point or from the macro scale world, but not both simultaneously. In other words, by merely internally shifting one's point of view, one moves from the nonlocal god-viewpoint to the local human-viewpoint, yet need go nowhere. One's experience depends entirely upon the point of view that awareness chooses to experience within the spectrum of consciousness. ~ Dr. Edgar Mitchell (Way of the Explorer - Quantum Consciousness, 1996)

It is a part of this Teaching, that as "our time" moves along, we are actually getting closer to "Truth" and Truth can actually make you insane. The insanity comes from the reaction people have by having been exposed to something which reveals to them and others the "non-truth" by which they live by and express as their reality. Similar to opening the door to a photographic darkroom and damaging the process by letting in too much light. But this is misleading probably, at best. As time goes the polarity among people seems to create a deeper divide and many are confused and alarmed by the implications that they are irresponsible, inconsiderate, immature, etc. due to the way they live their life and what they want the world to do. It is all becoming a dichotomy even in human terms but in spiritual ways it is even more insane. People are reacting and digging in their heels because change is the last thing they wish to do. Those who resist the Truth find that there is an impending doom in their lives because what they fear the most is change. This change is often interpreted as "death" by the human consciousness. On the other hand, those who are engaged in doing spiritual work, real work, not pretend socially hip new age stuff, but real self observation and self confrontation and holding up what they believe about themselves to the light of who they really are, these people are forging a new awareness which will be much more receptive to Truth and the change process will most likely be a conscious one which brings great exaltation and wonder as this "sanity" is revealed within. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

Compulsive behavior is mechanical behavior. To break the hold habits and patterns have on oneself you must self observe and trace the apparent pattern of action and reaction to other reflective behavior and capture the memory of those moments until you begin to see that your activity is one of habitual activity. This activity has nothing to do with reality but everything to do with an attempt to recapture moments which makes you somehow feel safe in light of the insecurities which surface in your daily life due to the prompting of some trigger. Look for these triggers as they too will aid you searching out the mechanical responses which take you out of the control of the self and into the realm of the psychological zombie. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar

War is waged between the evidences of Spirit and the evidences of the five physical senses; and this contest must go on until peace be declared by the final triumph of Spirit in immutable harmony. Divine Science disclaims sin, sickness, and death, on the basis of the omnipotence and omnipresence of God, or divine good. All consciousness is Mind, and Mind is God. Hence there is but one Mind; and that one is the infinite good, supplying all Mind by the reflection, not the subdivision, of God. Whatever else claims to be mind, or consciousness, is untrue. The sun sends forth light, but not suns; so God reflects Himself, or Mind, but does not subdivide Mind, or good, into minds, good and evil. Divine Science demands mighty wrestlings with mortal beliefs, as we sail into the eternal haven over the unfathomable sea of possibilities. ~ Mary Baker Eddy (Retrospection and Introspection, 1891)

Truth fights to express its omnipotence,
the path of least resistance is the oneness of knowing and being known

Where is that place in dreams? What is its size? The world is exactly of that kind. The difference is that you are associated with it in such a way that it seems much more formidable. You see the subtle and dream worlds briefly and confusedly, because basically you rest in that this waking world corresponds exactly to your requirements. Things happen to you, some so-called good and some so-called bad, exactly in accord with your tendencies. Things in this world are always testing you and not fulfilling you. When you begin to see the world as a realm rather than as a place or fixed something to which you are attached, then it becomes much more amusing. ~ Bubba Free John (The Way That I Teach: Talks on the intuition of Eternal Life)

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream
(row = the energy put forth - water = emotion - flowing water = ongoing emotions)
Merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream
(Bliss is the joy and peace when one discovers that what the human calls life is a dream)
