Insight is not an act of remembrance, the continuation of memory. Insight is like a flash of light. You see with absolute clarity, all the complications, the consequences, the intricacies. Then this very insight is action, complete. In that there are no regrets, no looking back, no sense of being weighed down, no discrimination. This is pure, clear insight - perception without any shadow of doubt. Most of us begin with certainty and as we grow older the certainty changes to uncertainty and we die with uncertainty. But if one begins with uncertainty, doubting, questioning, asking demanding, with real doubt about man's behaviour, about all the religious rituals and their images and their symbols, then out of that doubt comes the clarity of certainty. ~ J. Krishnamurti
Insight is forever, there is no truth in regret
December 23 ~ Saturday 2006
To discover a Teacher of high Teaching one must have a deep desire to know much. If one does not really want to know the "mysteries" they will not create the necessary vacuum for that opportunity. Raise your sights. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Consciousness is always a thought away
December 20 ~ Wednesday 2006
To take time out of the equation, as Robert Jahn suggests, we need to take separateness out of it. Pure energy as it exists at the quantum level does not have time or space, but exists as a vast continuum of fluctuating charge. We, in a sense, are time and space. When we bring energy to conscious awareness through the act of perception, we create separate objects that exist in space through a measured continuum. By creating time and space, we create our own separateness. ~ Lynne McTaggart (The Field: The Quest For The Secret Force Of The Universe)
Consciousness is still the undiscovered frontier
December 19 ~ Thursday 2006
Everyday observing requires a very low state of attention. You take in many sights, sounds and smells around you in the course of your ordinary activities. However, when you do something that really engages your mind and emotions -- listening to music, watching a gripping moment of theater, attending a political rally or a religious service -- you concentrate with every pore of your body. You attend to it in a state of peak intensity. ~ Lynne McTaggart (The Field: The Quest For The Secret Force Of The Universe)
To be awaken is to truly know perception

Modern Physics impresses us particularly with the truth of the old doctrine which teaches that there are realities existing apart from our sense-perceptions, and that there are problems and conflicts where these realities are of greater value for us than the richest treasures of the world of experience. ~ Max Planck (20th century German physicist regarding the discovery of Quantum Mechanics)
Infinity within each minute particle of infinity and so on ~ D.L.
December 17 ~ Sunday 2006

In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 we read: "We do not battle against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities." Also it continues that "...every thought is our prisoner, captured to be brought into obedience to Christ."
For serious Truth students actively doing "Work" as it relates to the changing of consciousness, the above biblical discourse relates specifically to the importance of the recognition that in our "Work" we are not dealing with matter or in a physical world but rather what we are having to face and understand is that we are dealing with consciousness and ultimately our consciousness. We must "arrest" thoughts which form patterns and self destructive activity by bringing our own perception of such beliefs in alignment with the axioms of the Truth which is the "Mind of Christ" and in so doing achieve a metanoia, a breakthrough in consciousness. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Every change in consciousness is the remembering of the "I AM"
December 14 ~ Thursday 2006
Honest pioneer work in the field of science has always been, and will continue to be, life's pilot. On all sides, life is surrounded by hostility. This puts us under an obligation. ~ Wilhelm Reich
Mental science can be achieved on the same level as the physical sciences. In this 21st century humankind will begin to see that consciousness is the focus of all sciences and the general public will learn to trace happenings in their world to the realm of mind. This pursuit will prove itself to be the greatest departure from the past we have yet to experience. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Every movement of mind is the sharing of God
December 13 ~ Wednesday 2006
All the religions of the world, while they may differ in other respects, unitedly proclaim that nothing lives in this world but Truth. ~ Mohandas Gandhi
Every movement through space is a journey back to itself
December 12 ~ Tuesday 2006
In talking about futurism, and explaining how metaphysics plays a role in space travel, it comes to me to explain that space travel is a more extended version of Mind Unfolding and that since all matter is consciousness and that mind unfolding is riddled with symbology, it is of the utmost necessity to experience one's environment as their own psychological world. This is true everywhere, but I believe ultimately it is mandatory for space travel and for entertaining the "Civilization One" level of earth's role in the future as it pertains to the theories of Dr. Michio Kaku. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Every movement through space is a journey back to itself
December 11 ~ Monday 2006
While Ouspensky, Gurdjieff, and others who were Fourth Way teachers were concerned with the psychology of what a human being might become, others were developing psychological theories about people as they are. One of these, C. G. Jung, wrote extensively about many of the same ideas that intrigued Ouspensky. Both were convinced that ancient systems like astrology, alchemy, and the tarot held keys to human psychology. ~ Susan Zannos (Human Types: Essence and the Enneagram)
Every movement has a meaning all its own and is connected to the whole
December 10 ~ Sunday 2006
If all of the frightening predictions are that our world is coming to an end, then why are we not more happy about that? Our "world" represents our out-pictured consciousness. The ending of our world as we know it should be understood as a reflection of a tremendous change in consciousness. The real question is why do we not want our world to change?
When we change we reveal more of ourselves.
December 9 ~ Saturday 2006
Pacifism is objectively pro-fascist. This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side, you automatically help out that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one. In practice, "he that is not with me is against me." ~ George Orwell
He that is afraid of war will never achieve peace ~ D.L.
December 8 ~ Friday 2006
Men can only be happy when they do not assume that the object of life is happiness. ~ George Orwell

December 7 ~ Thursday 2006
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. ~ George Orwell
For every action, there is an equal opposite reaction ~ Isaac Newton
December 6 ~ Wednesday 2006
A hole in a boat, if it is not attended, soon the boat will fill up with water beyond control and it and all within it sinks. Likewise, a person's life, if left with unchecked self-destructive baggage can become overwhelming and a person can collapse under the weight of and unable to change the necessary changes. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
We are here to change and to discover who we are
December 5 ~ Tuesday 2006
If there is a God part of the brain... it is logical therefore to form the conclusion that there is truth to the existence of that which we call God. For every lie there is a truth which it is a lie about. If there is a lie within our brain which deludes us into believing in a God, then it is the concept of God which ultimately must be true in order for there to be this lie about it. If I say that 2 + 2 = 5 then 5 is the lie about 4 which is the correct answer. If there is a part of the brain which creates the illusion of God within us then it must be a lie about the real God which is the abstract principle which we must understand as Infinite Consciousness or Mind or Spirit. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
One must go beyond their illusions to discover Ultimate Reality
December 4 ~ Monday 2006
When one is asked "what is the truth of the Universe" I can confidently say that it is all in your mind. This does not mean that it is an illusion or something made up like a fantasy but that the Universe itself is within one's mind because it is within Mind because it is MIND. The Universe is consciousness and all that exists is consciousness. This being the case, all of the Universe is governed by thought and change can be accomplished through through and through the changing of consciousness itself. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
One must go beyond their limits of themselves if they are to ever discover who they are in reality ~ D.L.
December 3 ~ Sunday 2006
When we were children, we used to think that when we were grown-up we would no longer be vulnerable. But to grow up is to accept vulnerability... To be alive is to be vulnerable. ~ Madeleine L'Engle (Walking on Water: Reflections on Faith and Art, 1980)
Always go beyond what you think you can handle and know there is truth on the other side
December 2 ~ Saturday 2006
That one extra degree which makes the difference between being good and great is an amazing feat. But also the difference between being good and doing nothing is the pit which we fall into that becomes depression. And the difference between that apathy and those who would wish to stop you from being good or being great becomes the evil which the world has fought against since the beginning of time. We must see that reflection as a part of ourselves which tries to prevent us from escaping the trap of the ego which desires mediocrity to keep us in bondage to the self which never lets go of itself for something Higher. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Always go beyond what you think you can do and discover who you really are
December 1 ~ Friday 2006
