Attempting to determine our Universe and/or physical reality seems to be far less important at this point as our need to figure out our own state of consciousness and the thinking process at hand as well as Mind in general and what reality is actually reality. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar (Quantum Metaphysics)
Journey within and determine what thoughts are real and which ones are illusion...DL

We come now to a consideration of voluntary suffering --- suffering that we are willing to take on in order that our own lives can be fully realized and in order that the world may be fully realized. But these are acts of creation, and creation involves risk --- a painful dying to who we are now, a sacrifice of the known so that the unknown, uncertain new can come. This is why we do not change very often. Those who participate in change must participate in death, burial, and resurrection. ~Elizabeth O'Connor (Our Many Selves: A Handbook For Self-Discovery, 1971)
and
Gurdjieff talked about conscious suffering. This is to become aware of the self, the human self, and all of its pains and subconscious discomforts emotionally which control the self, but to observe this from your awake "I AM" self. This is the beginning. To view the faults but not to let the earthquake shake you. To use self-observation but not to identify with the person your subconscious thinks it is. In this manner you can begin to awaken. You do this by realizing that this is not your real self, because what you are is mind, consciousness, which is not even connected to the appearances of what you might perceive, what you might observe. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
Rise up above the subconscious mind and enter into the Kingdom
Wednesday ~ August 29, 2012
Voices within one's consciousness. How does one know which voice to listen to? You must learn to discern the inner voice of the "I AM". When you are torn between two voices, each pulling you and pushing you and you find that you are reacting and rebelling and that you know you will not be satisfied by following either voice, you must pause and become centered within. You will find that you are divided and that no decision can be properly made in this state of consciousness. For every action there is an equal opposite reaction but this is not the fulfillment of knowing the Self. This is the ripple of human thinking which mechanically goes on and on and on and on. You must know yourself by waiting out this moment, find that place within where you are neither thinking nor feeling but you have moved on to Being. When you achieve this state of Being, be led by your SELF to interact with your unfoldment afresh, alive and alert. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar (Fourth Way Master)
Mind, body and soul, together express the whole... the fourth level: Oneness
Tuesday ~ August 28, 2012
The right brain/left brain studies have been popularized over the last three decades and have overshadowed the previous work done on androgyny and the male/female principle as it relates to our physical expression of ourselves. Our male and female genders express the collective state of consciousness which we are connected to at this point in time of our spiritual development. Because of our consciousness of duality we are operating within the framework of a divided mind. Ultimately this is illusion, but still, because we "get back what we put out" (the operating principle of the Cosmos), we outpicture our consciousness as it represents itself to us. In this case, we are divided in "our world" as male or female. But because illusion is not the truth, and in Reality Truth is the standard in back of all that we see, we find that even in the midst of what we might interpret as a lie, we will find a shadow of the truth peering through the gauze of our filtering system. This is because in Reality it is Truth which is operating but we do not allow ourselves to see it. This being the case, despite the fact that we are divided as males and females, we will still find that each of us is both male and female but with certain characteristics outweighing the others because of our psychic and spiritual imbalance. The reason this displays itself this way is because even within the illusion, an absolute cannot appear representing illusion or error. In other words, what is false may appear in a relative sense, but only Truth may appear in an absolute sense. An example of this is the appearance of sexuality divided, but not absolutely. Rather the male/female truth can be found to varying degrees within each sex. Imagine the yin/yang symbol representing the male/female principle and imagine a version of it in an imbalanced state wherein the one side is less while the other side is more. Even in the imbalance you will find that one compensates the other in perfect mathematical harmony maintaining the whole of the expression. So it is in our human manifestation. If you think about it, despite our western humor making jokes about "viva la difference", there is very little difference between males and females. The mind, of course, goes directly to the genitals, but when examined biologically, there is little difference, and in not so much rare cases, but neither common, there are instances where infants have been listed as male or female when later it was determined it was an error in judgment. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar (S.P.A.T.C.H. TEST)

If I were a palm tree I would stand tall in the sun and give off very little shadow. I would provide just enough leaves to fill out the top and express the simplicity of a wisdom through the sparsity I would express. I would be tall causing those who cast their eyes upon me to be drawn up toward the heavens so that they might raise their own sights and change for the better. I am not an easy tree to climb but those who do climb me do so for a specific reason and not simply idle pleasure. I bend with the strongest of winds because I am flexible. I can be found all around the world because I am universal. I am a palm tree. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar (Q.M.I.)
Trees symbolize wisdom... leaves ideas!

To all and especially for Neil.... how appropriate is it that he was the first human
to step on the moon? So symbolic. Our space program has represented the release of our bondage
to Earth and to "Man-State Thinking" thus freeing us to enter into the Universe.
The moon, which symbolizes the unconscious is that realm of inner control so needed
for change and for quantum leaps in consciousness as well as the doorway to the Higher Self.
Neil Armstrong: August 5, 1930 to August 25, 2012 (82 years)
First man on the moon.
"To go where no one has gone before."
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
~ John Gillespie Magee, Jr.

In back of time, space and change there is a quantum space...
Saturday ~ August 25, 2012
In fact, quantum physics accurately describes all physical phenomena. The rough, classical physics that we are accustomed to using when talking about the everyday world about us is just a good approximation (an approximation that works well at certain restricted levels) of the real physics that quantum theory outlines. So the problem is not that quantum reality is terribly remote or inaccessible. It is everywhere around us and inside us. In fact, as we get more in touch with the true nature of our own perceptions and conscious experience, I think we can appreciate the truth of David Bohm's claim that "quantum mechanics has been experienced by everybody far more than classical mechanics." But we have been immersed in the mechanistic paradigm for so long that we have come to expect very particular things from the physical world. We are used to the Newtonian categories of space and time and solid matter and we can't easily imagine a world that mocks their existence. ~ Danah Zohar and Ian Marshall (The Quantum Society, 1994)
In back of time, space and change there is a fundamental reality

Nobody sees the heart and soul of the seeker after truth; but his tongue speaks truly: "I AM the Truth." For the wise man evil and good are both exceeding good. No evil ever comes from God; whenever you think to see evil proceeding from him, you were better to look on it as good. I'm afraid that on the way of faith, you are like a squinter seeing double, or a fool quarreling with the shape of a camel. Evil can never arise from him: how should evil co-exist with him? Only the foolish and ignorant work evil, --- never the beneficent friend. If he gives you poison, deem it honey; and if he shows you anger, deem it mercy. ~ Hakim Sanai (The Walled Garden of Truth)

God, Spirit, divine Consciousness, is the causative principle of our body, as well as of our business, of our home, and of our social activities. God is the divine consciousness of our being, the substance of our being, and the law of our being; but we must turn within in order to start the flow that we, as human beings, have reversed. ~ Joel Goldsmith (Consciousness Unfolding, 1962)
The only "Secret" is the one where you keep everything that you already know from your Self. The process of unfolding the self is sometimes equated with the peeling of the onion. There are tears on the way but when you get to the heart of the onion it is sweet. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
To everything there is a season... live it all in joy and completeness

Mysticism has been in the past and probably ever will be one of the great powers of the world and it is bad scholarship to pretend the contrary. You may argue against it but you should no more treat it with disrespect than a perfectly cultivated writ ~ William Butler Yeats (1865-1939 Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923)
Mysticism is the communication of experiencing Truth as close to its original abstract terms that it seems difficult for others to comprehend and in that manner, others tend to accept it as the experience of something which cannot be described or those who reject it as a disturbed mental delirium experienced by a weak minded soul. However, mysticism is the non-linear glimpse and translated into the linear for both the left brain and the right brain to deal with. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar (Q.M.I.)

(Former professor at Yale University) stated, "So far as our present information goes, there is unequivocal evidence that wherever there is life, there are electrical properties." As an example, Burr points to the human body. Its molecules and cells are always being torn apart and rebuilt with fresh material from the food we eat. But thanks to the controlling L-Fields, the new molecules and cells are rebuilt as before, and arrange themselves as the old ones. The body's L-Fields "serves as a matrix or mould which preserves the 'shape' or arrangement of any material poured into it. ~ Harold Saxton Burr (Author of Blueprint For Immortality, 1972)

The world as you perceive it cannot have been created by the Father, for the world is not as you see it. God created only the eternal, and everything you see is perishable. Therefore, there must be another world that you do not see. The Bible speaks of a new Heaven and a new earth, yet this cannot be literally true, for the eternal are not re-created. To perceive anew is merely to perceive again, implying that before, or in the interval between, you were not perceiving at all. What, then, is the world that awaits your perception when you see it? Every loving thought that the Son of God ever had is eternal. The loving thoughts his mind perceives in this world are the world's only reality. They are still perceptions, because he still believes that he is separate. Yet they are eternal because they are loving. And being loving they are like the Father, and therefore cannot die. The real world can actually be perceived. All that is necessary is a willingness to perceive nothing else. For if you perceive both good and evil, you are accepting both the false and the true and making no distinction between them. ~ (A Course In Miracles)
Wherever you find Truth, you can only find it within

"The name of this infinite and inexhaustible depth and ground of all being is God. That depth is what the word God means. And if that word has not much meaning for you, translate it, and speak of the depths of your life, of the source of your being, of your ultimate concern, of what you take seriously without any reservation. Perhaps, in order to do so, you must forget everything traditional that you have learned about God, perhaps even the word itself. For if you know that God means depth, you know much about him. You cannot then call yourself an atheist or unbeliever. For you cannot think or say: Life has no depth! Life is shallow. Being itself is surface only. If you could say this in complete seriousness, you would be an atheist; but otherwise you are not. He who knows about depth knows about God." ~ Paul Tillich (1886-1965) The Shaking of the Foundations
Life is not what we think of it, Life is perfect. It is our imperfect knowing of that which colours our world... DL

When in the depths of seeming hopelessness one wills wholeness, he or she can begin to draw all that is needed for healing. The economy of the universe is built on love and operates on will. It doesn't matter what I feel; what I will to experience is what will finally be. This hope can penetrate the darkest despair, can motivate even an abnormal paralysis of will. The God of love made the first step to wholeness so totally available to the most broken life---the will to be made whole. ~ Ruth Carter Stapleton (The Gift of Inner Healing / The Experience of Inner Healing, 1976)
And in the end, the love we take is equal to the love we make ~ Lennon/McCartney

LIFE IS A STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. Write the words deeply in your heart. Lift the statement high in your mind. Without Consciousness, there would be no life. It comprises everything in your world. When you reduce everything in the universe to its lowest common denominator, you say, "I AM." ~ Robert A. Russell (You, Too, Can Be Prosperous, 1950)
Life is not only a state of Consciousness, Consciousness is ALL there is

The hardest part about gaining any new idea is sweeping out the false idea occupying that niche. As long as that niche is occupied, evidence and proof and logical demonstration get nowhere. But once the niche is emptied of the wrong idea that has been filling it - once you can honestly say, I don't know, then it becomes possible to get at the truth. ~ Robert A. Heinlein

"The bad days far out number the good. The scientist in me knows that Alzheimer's is the deterioration progressively of the brain cells. "When a man has learned to understand the workings of the universe and has realized that there is nothing so great or all inclusive as this frame of things wherein men and God are united, and that from it come the seeds from which are sprung not only my own father or grandfather, but all things that grow upon the earth, why should he not call himself a citizen of the universe and son of God?" ~ Epictetus (1st century) Discourses
"All that a man has here externally in multiplicity is intrinsically One. Here all blades of grass, wood and stone, all things are one. this is the deepest depth and thereby am I completely captivated." ~ Meister Eckhart (1260-1327) Sermons
"This is the truth: as from a blazing fire sparks, being like unto fire, fly forth a thousandfold, thus are various beings brought forth from the Imperishable, my friend, and return thither also." ~ The Upanishads

Now, the expression I AM is a statement of inner consciousness or awareness. But then, what is awareness? There is an expression: "Though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, there I AM with you." What is this thing that is with you? What is this thing that we call I AM, that watches you go to grammar school, junior high, and high school, get married, have children, and experience life. This is awareness. This I AM can never be shrugged off, no matter what life experiences you have, no matter where you go, no matter what you do -- be it good, bad, or indifferent -- you always know that I AM awareness, then, is the consciousness of yourself that evaluates and controls everything you do -- if you will allow it. ~ Dr. Don L. Torres (I AM: The Science of Self Awareness, 1975)
I AM beyond what you usually realize for I AM ALL

Truth is a great paradox: Only as we can be nothing, can we be something. "God is all there is, and beside him there is nothing." There is not God and trouble, there is only God. It is either God, or nothing. Which is it? Since God is good, then "only the good is true." If it is not good, then it is nothing. How long will it take to get rid of nothing? How big is nothing? To be, is Being. Being is God. Not to be, is nothing. ~ Frances Wade Gott (Science of Being, 1923).
Even if you think you are nothing, you have to be something to think it

Surrender, trust, turn away from outer accumulation and achievement and allow yourself to be purposeful and guided. You will find a peaceful place in your mind when you achieve this blissful state, and you will find yourself more active, more fulfilled, and the riches you used to crave will arrive in your life in amounts more than sufficient to meet your wants and needs. The essence is knowing that you are already complete, already whole, and that nothing external to yourself in the physical world can make you any more complete. ~ Dr. Wayne W. Dyer (Real Magic: Creating Miracles In Everyday Life, 1992)
Completeness is a state to accept, not to achieve ~ DL

Put your hand on my head, baby, do I have a temperature? I see people who are supposed to know better standing around like furniture. There's a wall between you and what you want and you got to leap it. Tonight you got the power to take it, tomorrow you won't have the power to keep it. West of the Jordan, East of the Rock of Gibraltar. I see the turning of the stage, curtain rising on a New Age, see the Groom still waiting at the altar. ~ Bob Dylan (The Groom's Still Waiting At The Altar, 1981)

I saw me an angel and I screamed you've got to take me. The angel stood there silently and agreed but would not make me. See all the things inside I needed just to free me. He looked in my eyes and said he wouldn't want to be me. And said I know you have to really see what's happening, but somehow the roar of the world became so incredibly deafening. The light was so bright there was nothing left to see. I had to close my eyes just to focus on my dream. The wind began to blow and the ground began to rumble. I began to see my life and all of my trouble. Everything I knew quickly passed before my eyes. The angel he just stood there and exhibited no surprise. I cried out in my darkness and I pleaded for some redemption but the angel he just turned away from my hollow and empty admission. I knew there was more to this than simply an echo of sorrow but there was nothing left inside of me on which I could borrow. A voice from on High screamed the time was now to realize my confusion. I wasn't who I thought and it was all just an illusion. Just who could I be if all there was was an infinite Spirit. I sat alone in the silence so complete that I could here it. I stood up in the Light which began to shine but did not fear it. ~ Derek Lamar (Angel On My Pillow In My Silent Pits of Hell, 2004)

...should you ever appear to suffer a headache, do not blame it on nerves, something you ate, or upon wrong thinking, but turn to the ENTIRETY of GOD wherein there is no time, no destiny-schedule. There you will not be listed for "headache" or for any other form of God's absence! You will find no stops or starts in Mind; no desolate or barren experiences through which you are slated to pass; no accidents or unsavory moments. You are not a fated passenger on the train of time, or the rocket-ship of destiny, subject to predetermined tables of foibles and follies. You are not a puppet of yesterday or tomorrow. Non-attachment is not indifference --- this cannot be repeated too often. Many people reject the aims of yoga philosophy as "inhuman" and "selfish," because they imagine yoga as a cold, deliberate shunning of everybody and everything for the sake of working out one's own salvation. The truth is exactly the opposite. Human love is the highest emotion most of us know. It frees us to some extent from our egotism in our relation to one or more individuals. But human love is still possessive and exclusive. Love for the Atman is neither. We readily admit that it is better to love people "for what they really are" than merely for their beauty, their intelligence, their strength, their sense of humor or some other quality --- but this is only a vague and relative phrase. What people "really are" is the Atman, nothing less. To love the Atman in ourselves is to love it everywhere. And to love the Atman everywhere is to go beyond any manifestation of Nature to the Reality within Nature. Such a love is too vast to be understood by ordinary minds, and yet it is simply an infinite deepening and expansion of the little limited love we all experience. ~ Swami Prabhavananda and Christopher Isherwood (How To Know God: The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali)
The Atman is the "I AM", Being, Truth, Wholeness, Spirit, Infinite Mind, SELF, God, LIGHT. ~ Dr. Derek Lamar
